They are still waiting on the proof back on the flags, but my guess is it will not spell out Western but will rather be individual WIU flags. Though as of right now I do not know their full plan on design.

Ok, changed the text a bit to reflect that.

Good work, guys. I will kick in $50 today and another $50 later (hopefully sooner rather than later) to match the $50 earned by first Leatherneck fan who takes the "All Conferences" prize in MVFC Pick'em. That individual need not donate to the same cause. Would be great if flags were flying high by Homecoming.

Ya, unfortunately that 4-6 week time for delivery takes quite a while, originally I was hoping for them by the 1000th game. As of right now we have to reach the goal first so hopefully that happens.

That and my $50 looks like it is going to be a little late. I can't seem to print the pledge card. Nothing but headaches since I switched my home network from WEP to the more secure PKA about three weeks ago. Definitely more secure, I can hardly use it. ;)

I do not know if this helps, but I uploaded the Pledge Card as a JPEG file on here. I also have this as a PNG file if that is any better or a TIFF.

This is way out of any fundraising project we are capable of doing right now, but would be awesome to see the school replace the old end zone bleachers with some new poratable nice looking aluminum ones. These appear to have wheels and can most likely be hooked to a gator or utility tractor and would be used at the baseball diamond, softball diamond, and the soccer fields. I would think two would be perfect for the endzone and then one for each side of the other fields.

I can't print anything but I will get the job done one way or another. Here is a question for someone close to the LeatherneckClub to answer. Do they sponsor any 50-50 raffles at games? These are hugely popular at most sporting events I go to and bring in big dollars. The Bison Team Makers have been doing it for years now and even have it down to a high-tech science:

Granted, Team Makers might not be affiliated with NDSU in the same way that the Leatherneck Club is with WIU, but I have seen 50-50 raffles going on in Illinois at high schools, ISC world softball tournaments, etc. so I know they are not "illegal". Apparently there are NCAA rules regarding them (like no PA winning ticket announcements during playoff games, etc.) but do we run 50-50 raffles for football games? If so, do people know where the tickets can be purchased? If not, why not?

Sounds like the biggest money maker would be if a couple people volunteered to run a stand at tailgating an walk around yelling 50 50. It also sounds like from this link below that during regular season it can be done inside stadium and announced, it just is not done during playoffs the same way.
