I loved watching the girls go into the stands and dancing with the band I don’t know if they always do that and I was just now paying attention. The 1st person in the stands was Mia she has really improved through the season. I saw her early in the season and was less than impressed but she has been so good down the stretch and seems to be having so much fun.
That was a lot of fun. They've never come up into the stands with us, but they have come over and cheered/sang with us for the fight song after a big win. Addi Brownfield occasionally runs over to help conduct the fight song too.
I wonder if ISU will have their pep band at their women's game, or if they're taking the band to the men's game. The ISU men are playing in the CBI and their game is the same day at 5:30 PM (Central) against Presbyterian in Daytona Beach, FL. Might also mean fewer fans because a few might travel to Florida for that tournament rather than sticking around for their women's game.
I want to see an upset - Leathernecks over the Redbirds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that Women's Basketball can get better radio coverage next season.
This year, their home games were on WIUS (88.3 FM). But there was no radio broadcast of any road games. And no radio broadcast of the 3 games in the OVC Tournament.
Perhaps Western Athletics can send the WIUS Radio team to the road games next year.

Just to throw out some past names, Mia has better range than Ashley Luke. Along with McCowan, she has a very respectable midrange game. We are only one Macy Miller away from having a really strong team next year.

Unless I’m missing something I believe we have one new player coming in next season and we lose 3 so I’m wondering if jd will try bringing someone in from the portal id love a guard who can really score

Madison Davis also showed a lot of improvement this year. She was a scorer in HS and has good quickness but maybe a year or two away. I agree with you. The strong quick ball-handler with score at-will skils is the missing link right now. That kind of player would make the 2 bigs that much better.

I was thinking an Emily Clemens. Adding a guard to go with Madison, Kaylen, and Shelby would be huge.

I would think he's leaving them open to see if they can add someone from the portal. I'm sure most of the high school kids are committed somewhere. So unless he will bank a scholarship, I would think its someone from the portal or maybe a JUCO player, but once again most of the good ones I assume are committed.
