I would agree with this, especially considering that while we did win some games last season, we are still needing to work hard to make WIU football games THE place to be (like back in the olden - and not so olden days). What might not seem like a lot to some people can quickly add up if you are wanting to bring a family to the game. 

 

I wonder what ticket prices are at other OVC teams and MVC teams, I assume WIUs is probably one of the lower ones, not saying their price is right or wrong, just wondering. I think I heard it is $10 to get into our local high school football games this season. I agree, at least a youth ticket price should be lower.

It all comes down to basic economics.  $15 tickets that go unsold bring in $0.
 

Maybe rather than lowering the price for adult tickets, they make it so that all kids are free. Like, WIU students already get in free with their student ID, so just make it so that anyone under 18 gets in free as well. It makes it easier for families to bring their kids, and it might help develop a few more fans if we have more local kids going to games as they are growing up.
