This is a HUGE pick up and is helping to shape an amazing recruiting class for 2nd year in row. This kid was offered by Illini it appears and has turned them down to play at WIU. Probably a difference in full ride vs partial.

Can't remember the name, but saw on Twitter yesterday, a walk-on WR at Iowa announced he is transferring to WIU

Haven't seen him mentioned yet, but Justin Corbett, 6'2" 210, WR has committed to Western.
Corbett is part of the AZ recruiting connection, but is originally from around here.
HS at Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) -> Northern Illinois -> Glendale (AZ) CC -> Western
As near as I can tell, he redshirted at Northern Illinois then transferred to Glendale CC.
It looks like he played 1 season at Glendale, so he should have 3 years of playing time available.
The Iowa walk-on WR could be Riley McCarron. Has 3 catches in 2013 as a Freshman and none this year after appearing in 6 games (returned 8 punts). Might not be, but he's been a walk-on for 3 years and they have 3 or 4 WR commits already.
Iowa WR transfer that would be nice is R-Fr Derrick Willies. He is transferring and left the team in Oct, but nothing known yet. Rock Island boy, but read an article that his father lives in AZ and might be transferring to that area. Also mention of his dad being sick, so that could be his ticket out of sitting at a FBS program.
Per tweet from Steve Batterson
Iowa walk-on WR Trev Hadachek, former Union prep, announces on Twitter he is transferring to Western Illinois after the spring term

Just read this morning in the McDonough County Voice on line that WIU is still recruiting and working hard.
