Sucks to lose him, but at least we are losing these coaches for FBS schools or the pros. Except for Anthony, that one I still don't understand.
Fling out the Purple and the Gold, We're Marching On.

That one hurts, he is a great LB and surprised he is moving on tbh.ST_Lawson wrote:Junior LB Andre Whitley has announced that he will be doing a grad transfer. No word on interested schools yet.
Whitley has 2 years of eligibility left:
2017 - redshirted
2018 - played in 11 games (23 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT)
2019 - played in 12 games (53 tackles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 INT)
I was a fan, but he's a tweener at LB/S and was splitting time with Powe. Hoping it just the fact we've upgraded at the position and he felt his playing time would decrease. He'll do well somewhere else and wish him the best.WIU2DC wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2020 10:53 amThat one hurts, he is a great LB and surprised he is moving on tbh.ST_Lawson wrote:Junior LB Andre Whitley has announced that he will be doing a grad transfer. Tre Hendon is going to be playing at DII Lindenwood.ST_Lawson wrote: Wed Nov 27, 2019 9:00 am Technically not 2020 yet, but I figured I'd start posting any changes to the roster going into next year that I come across.
First up:
LB Tre Hendon is going to do a grad transfer. Hendon redshirted in 2016, played in 12 games in 2017 with 16 tackles, played in 6 games in 2018 with 4 tackles, and played in 8 games with 5 tackles this last year.
Wow, 2 years left. He has more to give than he gave. I am not a big fan of redshirting kids unless they have NFL potential.ST_Lawson wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2020 9:07 am O-Lineman Michael Ross is transferring. He redshirted in 2017, played in 11 games in 2018, then 2 games in 2019. I don't remember if that was due to injury or what though.
