Agreed. Give him a better run game to offset the passing, and we'd be a lot better.

Honestly, I have no clue what “the problem” is. However, we are 1-14 in the last two season, I do know that is the problem. Likely 1-15 here after this game today. Something’s gotta change.

56 Rushing yards for Western. Illinois State had 274.
Western was 2 of 14 on third downs.
Time of Possession: Illinois State = 42:24. Western = 17:36.
Attendance at Illinois State = 1,853.

Yes, but also they have a few players who are sitting out the spring season to go for the NFL.

They have a new OC and a few guys that transferred and/or left to get ready for the next level. I get why they're down this year.
We can't execute on offense or stop the run with 9 guys in the box.
Unless they put it together in the fall, Elliott needs to go.

Wasn’t Elliot a low level coach for fisher when hired? Did anyone really expect better results? I tried to be optimistic, but it didn’t take the psychic ability of miss Cleo to see these results coming. It is what it is. Hopefully WIU can get a candidate worth a darn next round like the basketball program and Coach Jeter/his staff.
