The last four game scores have been 0-10, 3-13, 3-21, 17-10.
These are football game scores.  We need more TDs.   ;)

Bell threw 3 innings, 37 pitches the night before in getting the save.  Asking him to pitch again on short rest was a huge gamble.  Last nite he ended up throwing 49 pitches in 2 innings, including that disastrous one, giving up 6 earned runs.  If it paid off, we would be congratulating him, "Way to go, Rubberarm".  Today, keep the ice packs handy and enjoy a day off.

Would have been nice to take 2 of 3 from the Mavs but we still very much in the hunt for that last tournament spot.  Take 4 of next 6 from the Tommies (2 at home on Tuesday) would be a good start.  We end with 3 game series at home with ORU, they already have things wrapped up for top spot, so they won't be too fired up.  They will probably lift the starting pitchers early to save for tournament.  It's doable.  Never say die.

The boys end up the week taking 5 of 6 from the Tommies.  That 4th conference tournament slot is in reach.  Bison could do us a huge favor if they can take their 2nd game against Omaha today.  GO BISON.

Get ready to PACK THE PARK AND STOMP THE STANDS on Thursday against ORU.
I have learned from a confidential source that Pres Huang is allowing administrative leave for all employees to attend that game which starts at 3pm.  Just joking but it makes sense to me now that the semester is done and graduates are on their way to next adventure.

One game between Omaha and NDSU was rained out so Omaha has an 8-12 conference record. We need some help from Northern Colorado next weekend.  They are also in the hunt but they need the sweep of Omaha to make things interesting for them.

I assume we are still eligible for postseason.  I think some conferences put you in the doghouse if you have submitted your paperwork for leaving.
