As to my understanding Nikko Watson has been removed from the team due to the incident last summer. Crushing blow for the team and a fine young man.

I was hoping no news would be good news but I guess it does not always work out that way.

Just checked the posted Roster on the Athletics web page, and his name is still there.

If this true, it will be a lesson to everyone that behavior has consequences.

I thought I saw somewhere that Nielson said he was just missing the 1st game and would be back. So I wonder if some more info came out or the administration stepped in and said he was done. I hope not.

Ok I think this is what I was thinking. Ben Marth, WGEM Sports, tweeted: "head coach Bob Nielson expects to have all important roster pieces vs. Wisconsin, including the return of Kevin Kintzel & Nikko Watson" - so something must have changed.

Checked the game preview and he was listed in the two deep this last week. Too bad! Nice young man!;) jc

I will definitely be upset if he is out for the year for some reason. I think this is his first offense?

If this is true, he must have made his first offense a doozy.
