Had some huge offers, mostly P4 so I’m assuming he got hurt at some point his senior year and those offers dried up?

Couldn't find anything about an injury.  With the portal these days, offers might not last too long before they get taken.

Maybe he saw his chance to play/start right away.  No sense going to juco and move up, if you can get meaningful FCS game reps and move up.  Hope he plays and stays for years, but have to be a realist.

Might help being only 3 hours away for him and having his fellow 3 star teammate Stec coming as well.

Maybe he wanted to play on a team that already has a Christian Pierce on D......

Curious to the recruiting ranking for WIU compared to conference foes.  There seems to be a lot of highly ranked/recruited players signed in this class.  Not sure that means much in FCS but this staff has made waves in recruiting especially in the Chicago area and state of IL.

Based on everything I see coming out of WIU right now this is a BIG deal.  Admissions and alumni relations should run with this.  Need all positivity right now!

It is good to see and we'll take the good press. 

247 still shows Charlie Stec, but according to his X and their website, he's signed with Duquesne.

If they're weighing in the Transfers, Jerrod Cameron has since transferred to D2 UTPB and Wyatt Milkovic was recently removed from the roster.  Maybe they weren't getting reps with first team.  Surprised if that's the case for Milkovic as we don't have many LB's, but who knows.

Still have a ton of talented young guys coming in that should see some time and hopefully have a positive impact.
