I trust you. Just nervous with the last few seasons we went through.

Yeah, same boat.  I trust the new staff and the process, but was really crossing my fingers for a quick turnaround.  Understand that might not have been likely even if all these players stayed and it might take a few years to build us back, up.  Just really sick of watching loss after loss the last few years.

Seems like we're going to have very few bodies for Spring.  Get some great reps for the younger guys, just doesn't build much confidence to compete next year.

Same here. I'm just going to hope that the process will work and we'll see improvement. What we were doing obviously wasn't working and it's not like things could get much worse than the last few years.

I think you can become a playoff contender in 2-3 years.  A total culture change so you are contenders mosts years, add another 2-3 years.  Getting to the point where potential recruits hunt you down rather than the other way around, that takes a decade or longer of CONTINUAL success.

I am not going to even try to figure out the positivity of kids hitting the transfer portal.  Hell, I never figured out the significance of the "bundle of sticks" that showed up before Elliott took over. Or was that earlier?

You're doing better than me - I don't even remember a "bundle of sticks". I do know that all I can do is trust the process. I've never coached, so I can't even begin to think of everything that goes into rebuilding a team, let alone changing a complete mindset.

Like everyone here, trusting the process. It does make me nervous seeing a bunch of people leave and transfer, but that is college football now. Seems like the new staff is doing a lot of great stuff with the things that have been posted on social.

The Ross kid hasn’t played since the Colorado State game in 2019.  Been hurt since then.

Does the fact that he can't spell "Leatherneck" mean anything?

Could mean one of the following:
1. Twitter spell check didn't catch it.
2. WIU ENG101 is not very good.
3. Could have been in a hurry to get into the portal.

Regardless, to 2DC's point - it means we don't have an OL with all the transfers.
