I am reserving judgment on how good our defense is until two weeks from now. The only thing I know for sure at this point is that there are no pushover teams in the MVFC teams this year. Indiana State looks like they made big strides from last year to now.

Very nice. I guess you could say we won a battle and lost the war that day. For some reason, as I watched this, I had a flashback to WIU Grand Ballroom, circa 1974. I think the movie "Deliverance" was playing.

Did anyone else notice Northwestern's game today? So Western goes into Northwestern and loses by 17. This weekend Northwestern went to Penn State and beats the Nittany Lions by 23. I'm calling it...Western is better than Penn State
