Arkansas will host Southeast Missouri State in the first game of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional on Friday.

The winner of the Arkansas-SEMO game will play the winner of a game between Louisiana Tech (45-17) and Kansas State (32-24) in the winners bracket Saturday night.

The losers of those games will play in an elimination game Saturday afternoon.

The Razorbacks are the No. 5 overall seed in the tournament, which ensures home-field advantage in the regional and super regional rounds. Arkansas has a 33-3 record at Baum-Walker Stadium this year.

The winner of the Fayetteville Regional will be paired with the winner of the Charlottesville (Va.) Regional in the super regional round. Virginia, the No. 12 national seed, will host Mississippi State, St. John’s, and Pennsylvania.

Congrats to SEMO Baseball.

SEMO eliminated #5 Arkansas today 6-3 in the Fayetteville, Arkansas Regional.

Arkansas would have been a host site for a Super Regional.

I saw that WIU has a new pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. The previous pitching coach went to EIU.

Hopefully he can coach them to work ahead in counts and not walk the entire ballpark.

Reading his bio, that's what I'm hoping for. All of the stats the team bragged about him helping with were related to walks.
