Ben Marth (WGEM Sports) reported that over 100 football alumni and Coach Patterson will be here for Friday's spring game.

I wonder why a Friday night was chosen? Folks who live outside of Macomb and need to drive could find Friday evening a difficult time for travel. Most spring games are on Saturday afternoons which increases interest and attendance.

Personally, I like the Friday night format for the spring game. I'm guessing partially it was done due to having the golf outings on Friday and Saturday. Fits in between golf nicely.

Looks like it will be good weather for tonight's spring game.
Will be in the upper 60's this afternoon with partly cloudy skies. Winds: N at 10-20 mph.
Will be sunny and low 70's for Saturday. Winds: SE at 8 mph.

Who is volunteering to set up the Periscope feed for the game? That way, I can tune in on the big screen in my man cave while I am pimping my kayak which just arrived. I will even cut you a deal. Periscope this game and I will periscope my maiden kayak voyage on Monday. If no periscope, I expect nothing less than a detailed scouting report on what we can expect this coming fall.

Wi-fi can be pretty spotty at the football field (enough to occasionally check scores on the ESPN app, not usually enough to stream live video). I will try to shoot some video with my phone and get it posted to youtube this evening. I'm sure there'll be video highlights from the athletics department posted in the next day or two as well.
