I have watched a little video (below). 6'8" with ball handling skills. You know who he reminds me of? You guessed it. The Hick from French Lick.

Add 6'11" (and maybe still growing) Liam Robbins from Davenport Assumption to the list. I think he graduated in 2017. Spending this year at Sunrise Christian Academy (prep school) in Kansas. I think this year does count against his 5 year NCAA eligibility time but I might be wrong.

Ben Pyle is leading the McPherson Bullpup charge through the Kansas Class 4A-I state tournament this week. They won their quarterfinal game yesterday and face Arkansas City in the semifinal matchup today at 8:15 pm CT. He is ranked 125 nationally, 2nd in Kansas according to MaxPreps. I could see "Big Ben" (he is 6'7"/185 Guard and will probably need to put some muscle on his frame) and "Bigger Brandon" making a very nice outside/inside tandem next year. The stats that jump out to me are the 4+ assists/game and high shooting percentage:

I think the game tonight will be live-streamed via a link on the page below.

Update: the proverbial "bump"

UPDATE: Same Kansas prep school that Jenkins Jr from SDSU went to after graduating HS.

If this kid is still coming, we could have 3 7 footers on the squad next year. Damn.

Make that "bump2"

Update: The 125 and 2 rankings might be team instead of player. The data is a little confusing.

I hate thinking so pessimistic BUT if we would lose this kid if Billy was no longer coach, then we better keep Billy!
