Women's Basketball starts tonight (Oct 25) with a home exhibition game vs William Jewell College (Liberty, MO).

Game time is 6PM.

William Jewell is a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (Truman State, Quincy University, UIS, UMSL, etc).

Coach JD Gravina is a 2000 graduate of William Jewell.

It appears that you need to attend this game since there is not a radio feed available.

Nothing quite like the Sidearm StatMeter to keep you on the edge of your LazyBoy. ;)

This is an exhibition game which probably explains why it is not on the Leatherneck Sports Network.

However, the campus radio station WIUS (88.3 FM) broadcasts a lot of the home games. They have their own set of announcers. I am not sure if they will be doing this game tonight.

Is Wm Jewell a good team? It is surprising to see the exhibition game loss or the stat page is incorrect.

William Jewell was a good 3-point shooting team tonight. And they won the game 69-66.

William Jewell was 11 for 27 on three-pointers (40.7%). Western was 5 for 25 (20%).

Emily Clemens led the Western scoring with 15 points. Taylor Higginbotham had 12 points.

Attendance at Western Hall = 220.
