Tough one today in Brookings. I think basically comes down to how well our ladies can deal with the Jackrabbit pressure, including the added pressure from the crowd. If we keep them silent by hitting shots and FTs, play our usual pesky defense to get some takeaways, we have a chance. Won' t take a miracle, just need to stay close, handling their pressure, and give ourselves a chance at the end. Win or lose or draw, the experience will come in handy in Sioux Falls come tournament time.

Moving my post from other thread!
I am hoping that the Jackrabbit defense keeps the Leathernecks on the far south side of 100. JD has put together a good scoring machine. The Jackrabbits will need to hop out there to slow down the outside shooters. If there are any Leathernecks in Brookings for the game, there is a pork sandwich lunch including some of that SDSU ice cream for $8 at 1-2:30.

To shoot the ball that poorly and be that close is a moral victory! Proud of the girls for hanging in there! Great effort! We will get them in Macomb!

The starting lineups for both teams were on the floor most of the day. The subs had 44 minutes for each squad. Clemens did not get a breather until the last minute of the game. The Leathernecks have a better defense than other years to go with the good offense. The big guns Blumer and Higginbotham found lots of attention which showed up in their 4-23 shooting. It is hard to win on the road.
