A win here would go a long way in punching our ticket to the tournament this year. Both teams come in with 3-5 league records. Statistically, we match up with these guys very well. For example, we are the worst shooting team (FG%) in the league and they are worst at defending the shot. VegasInsider has a 3 point dog right now but I like our chances if the guys can feel a little energy from the crowd in Western Hall. Just for fun tonight, I am going to track our possessions when the ball gets inside the paint vs. not.

Total first half possessions=28
First half possessions when ball went inside paint* =16, Points scored=27
First half possessions when ball DID NOT go inside paint=12, Points scored=3
* Any player had the ball with at least one foot inside the paint
We are a lousy shooting team. Either get closer to the basket or draw the defense into the paint to give us a better look on the perimeter.
