I miss Covington already. We wont see a scorer like that likely again for a long time.

Western went 0 for 9 in overtime shooting--getting outscored 10-1. South Dakota wins the game 78-69.

Garret Covington led the Western scoring with 25 points. C.J. Duff had 12. Mike Miklusak had 10.

Western was 10 for 25 on three-point attempts.

Another big free throw differential. South Dakota shot 28 (made 22). Western shot 13 (made 9). That's a swing of 13 points.

You are right lost at the free throw line. How many times did we drive in the lane and no foul called. In 4 years I have never seen Garrett about to lose his cool.

If you are not physical, you wont get the calls in a game like this.

I know this is me being a bit of a homer, but they never get nearly as many physical calls inside as everyone else. Covington, Duff and Mike all had several plays underneath that should have drawn calls but never did.
