So I am heading to Macomb tomorrow to help with the alumni football event and to make contact with as many people as I possibly can in a three day visit! As I have said in the past, I love WIU! It had so much to do with who I fell in love with and who I became. I dream't of taking a high school basketball team to state when I walked across Q headed for Wig Wam Hollow Road. It was a helluva walk in those days, sometimes very very cold, but always made me think and rethink who I wanted to be and how I would get there. (I was dating my home town sweetheart at that point in time and she lived in Wetzel, just a floor below another lady who I eventually fell in love with.) We all have a passion for the Leathernecks and WIU, otherwise we would not be on this board. Enough said! jc
