SIU-Edwardsville to join MAC Soccer and Wrestling

SIU-Edwardsville will join the MAC as an affiliate member for Soccer and Wrestling starting in 2018.

SIU-Edwardsville upgrades to MAC Soccer from MVC soccer and upgrades to MAC Wrestling from SoCon wrestling. These are solid moves for SIU-Edwardsville.
MAC Soccer gets a nice bump too basically swapping Buffalo soccer (UB dropped the sport) for SIU-Edwardsville soccer. MAC wrestling also announced that UNI wrestling is leaving to join the Big 12, so although they are unrelated, it's basically a swap. MAC wrestling probably took a hit there, UNI is a top wrestling program, but MAC wrestling is still a top wrestling league.
