So, I was thinking that Homecoming was going to be an easier game, but South Dakota is up on #10 North Dakota 31-0 at halftime...that's not going to be an easy game at all.

North Dakota playing like they would rather be just about anywhere else in the world today.

So, how did North Dakota get to be ranked #10? What I saw today looked like a really weak defense, and not much qb protection on offense. Are they usually better?

Well, they're definitely going to be somewhere else in the polls come Monday.
Final Scores:
Central Connecticut - 9
Youngstown State - 59
Illinois State - 44
Eastern Illinois - 13
North Dakota - 7
South Dakota - 45
Murray State - 21
Missouri State - 28
Also, outside the conference:
Tennessee Tech - 13
Ball State - 28
Coastal Carolina - 23
UAB - 30
Illinois - 23
South Florida - 47
Northern Illinois - 21
Nebraska - 17
(previously mentioned)
North Texas - 14
Iowa - 31
Also, I realized I was wrong about my previous mention of NAU playing Cal Poly...they actually have a bye week this week and play Cal Poly next weekend.

I'm hoping it was just a complete breakdown on all fronts. I'd much rather it be that than USD being that good.
They did do fairly well for most of their game against Utah, and they completely shut down the Missouri State offense that had just put 40+ up on Mizzou, so I did expect something a little bit closer...not the utter blowout that it became.
