Different kid. The one transferring from Charleston Southern (FCS) was the one we didn't know about. This guy is coming from Temple (FBS).

Incoming grad transfer from Ohio State:
LB (but can also RB and LS), was an invited Walk-on at Ohio State. One year of eligibility (grad transfer).
Westerville (OH) Central HS -> East Tennessee State (1 year) -> Ohio State (redshirt+2 years playing) -> Western Illinois

He's listed at 6' 0" and 225lbs.
In HS he was apparently also a very talented QB, although if he's primarily a LB, I'd imagine that we'll see if he can fill a brett-sized hole in our defense this next year.

Down in the replies to that post, he tells a friend that he is going to play FB/Hybrid. Sounds like the kid can do a lot of things. QB, LB, long snapper, now FB.

Wonder if there is a Coach Haneline connection here?
