If you want to talk about Monmouth University Football, Quincy University Basketball, Notre Dame Men's Soccer, or whatever, this is the place.

Just going to use this thread to post more Jerry Kill news.
So, after he stepped down from the HC job at Minnesota, he spent a year as Associate AD at K-State (2016), then a year as OC/QB coach at Rutgers (2017). Then he went back to SIU to become their AD for a couple of years (was referenced earlier in this thread; 2018-2019). After that he spent a year as the special assistant to the HC at Virginia Tech, and now it looks like he's going to be special assistant to HC and help out on the offensive side of things under Coach Gary Patterson at TCU. Apparently Kill and Patterson are very good friends and Kill was Patterson's best man at his wedding in 2004.

Kill will not be one of the ten assistant coaches, instead he will overlook the just the offensive side of the ball from coach evaluations, players evaluations, play calls, schemes; virtually everything involved with the offensive side of the ball.

Its now official, Kill will be "special assistant to the head coach in charge of the offense" at TCU.

Hopefully his health will allow him to coach there for awhile.

Coach Kill is stepping down at NMSU. I don’t know if it’s health-related, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

Yeah I think it is, he mentioned something about not having the energy to do the job or something like that. Its too bad he's had all these health issues. If not it would be interesting to see where he would be coaching at now and what his coaching record would be.
