2018 Team Captains

Wow...obviously you expect to see Sean McGuire, Quentin Moon, and Justin Fitzpatrick on there. Riggs Baxter isn't a huge surprise either since he's a Senior. Clint Ratkovich being named a captain as a R-Sophomore is something of a surprise to me, but a good one. It bodes well for the future of the offense:

Seems like there’s always at least one young guy on the list guy that is surprising moon and McGuire were surprises in the past

Riggs was captain in 2016, when they had a defense (Taylor), offense (McGuire/soph) and special team (Baxter/soph) captain. They then rotated the 4th with different seniors I believe.
Probably good to have another offensive guy who also plays special teams and a younger guy who will be around a few more years, so good for Ratkovich.
Saunders is a stud and seems to be a team first guy (awesome interviews), so probably won't have any effect on him. He won't care anyways after we win a National Championship and he's making plays in the NFL next year.

Saunders is a stud and seems to be a team first guy (awesome interviews), so probably won't have any effect on him. He won't care anyways after we win a National Championship and he's making plays in the NFL next year.
