Eastern Illinois University saw a 13% increase in spring-to-spring total enrollment this semester, according to the university’s tenth day enrollment numbers.

Currently, Eastern has 8,630 total students. In the Spring 2020 semester, Eastern had a total of 7,621 students.

Eastern continues to have mostly female students:
5,123 female students.
3,507 male students.

Interesting. I looked at the EIU undergrad programs. They have a whole bunch of Pre-this and Pre-that. I think sometimes, 4 years schools look in the mirror and see themselves as the culmination in one's education when, in reality, they should be more of a stepping stone to career objectives.
