Women's NIT - Round 3
3/22 at 7 PM - Northern Iowa vs St. Louis (winner is in the Women's NIT "Final Four")

Women's NIT Consolation Bracket
3/22 at 4 PM - UT-Martin vs Illinois State
3/22 at 4 PM - Bowling Green vs Drake

Also just noticed that the WBI (Women's Basketball Invitational) tournament was going on as well. Only "local" team in it was Loyola Chicago. They lost their first game against Stetson, and their second game against Manhattan. In the "7th Place" game, they beat Abilene Christian, 74-55 earlier today (Sunday).

The Men's CBI tournament starts tomorrow, but there's only 8 teams in it and none of them are from our area:
Stetson vs. Bowling Green
Coastal Carolina vs. Bryant
Longwood vs. Pepperdine
Bellarmine vs. Army

Now that Iowa has been defeated by Oregon, we know the "Sweet Sixteen" round matchups for the teams we've been tracking.

Men's NCAA Tournament
6/27 at 1:40 PM - #8 Loyola Chicago vs #12 Oregon State
6/27 at 6:25 PM - #15 Oral Roberts vs #3 Arkansas

And the next set of games for all the other tournaments:

Men's NIT
All area teams eliminated

Women's NCAA Tournament
#5 Iowa beat #4 Kentucky, 86-72
#5 Missouri State beat #13 Wright State, 64-39
#2 Louisville beat #7 Northwestern, 62-53
#4 Indiana beat #12 Belmont, 70-48
#2 Texas A&M beat #7 Iowa State, 84-82

Women's NIT
3/26 at 7 PM - Northern Iowa vs Ole Miss (one half of the NIT "final four", so the winner plays in the championship game)
It looks like the teams in the consolation brackets just go as far as winning the region, so Drake ended their season with the win over Bowling Green to win the Rockford Region Consolation Bracket.

Didn't realize that DII is doing basketball championships as well (DIII cancelled their championship tournaments)

There's a couple of schools in neighboring states involved in those:

Men's DII NCAA Tournament - in the quarterfinal round, winners will be in the "final four"
#2 Northwest Missouri State beat #7 West Liberty University (WV), 98-77
#3 Flagler College (FL) beat #6 Truman State, 70-69

#2 Northwest Missouri State will play #3 Flagler College (FL) in the semifinal round at 8:45 PM on 3/25 (Thursday) on CBS Sports.

Women's DII NCAA Tournament - in the semifinal round, winners will play each other in the championship game on 3/26
#3 Drury University (MO) beat #2 Lander University (WY), 74-65
#1 Lubbock Christian beat #5 Central Missouri, 63-61

#3 Drury University (MO) will play #1 Lubbock Christian in the NCAA Women's DII Basketball Championship Game at 7 PM on 3/26 (Friday).

Just noticed that the Oral Roberts vs Arkansas game on Saturday is actually a rematch from earlier in the season.
ORU played at Arkansas on 12/20/20, losing to the Razorbacks, 87-76: https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/bo ... ansas.html
ORU was up 40-30 at halftime in the game, but was outscored 57-36 in the second half.
