Tracking State Universities Enrollment Numbers - Fall 2021

Now that we're a couple of weeks into most schools fall semesters, we're starting to see some enrollment numbers. Schools are required to report enrollment numbers based on "10th day", essentially 2 weeks into the semester, after most of the early-semester registrations and drops have slowed down significantly.
So far, ISU and SIUC have reported their numbers (WIU's are expected mid-next week):
Illinois State - 20,233 (down 2.35% from last year). They've been remarkably steady enrollment-wise over the last 20 years, with their high being 21,080 in 2011 and low at 19,924 in 2013 (a range of 1,156).
SIU-C - 11,266 (down 0.88% from last year). Like many state universities, they suffered severe drops in the span of ~2016-2019 (~30% down over the last 5 years), but are essentially flat from last year to this year, so it looks like the the freefall has pretty much flattened out.
