Our 28-point comeback win is officially the highest mark in Missouri Valley Football history !!

Previous record was 23 points.

Just to clarify, that record is for league games (games involving two MVFC/Gateway conference teams). We actually held the previous record for that also, from back in 1988, when we were down 31-8 (23 points) to Missouri State and came back to win 35-31.

For any game involving at least 1 MVFC team, Saturday's win ties a game from 2008 involving South Dakota State playing at Stephen F. Austin. SDSU was down 34-6 (28 points) midway through the 3rd quarter, but ended up winning 50-48 on a rushing TD as time expired.
