#3 James Madison beat Southeastern Louisiana, 59-20. #6 Montana will play at JMU next weekend.

#2 North Dakota State beat Southern Illinois, 38-7.
#7 ETSU beat Kennesaw State, 32-31 in an exciting finish. ETSU was down 31-17 with under 2 minutes left in the game, but they were able to drive down for a TD, recover the onside kick, take it in for another TD, then instead of going for the XP to tie the game, they went for 2 and got it with 35 seconds left in the game. They then held on to win.
North Dakota State will host ETSU next weekend.

#1 Sam Houston beats Incarnate Word, 49-42. UIW had the ball in the red zone, got down close to the end zone, 4th and goal, QB keep, came up a couple of inches short.
#8 Montana State beat UT-Martin, 26-7, despite MSU's QB entering the transfer portal 2 days ago and not playing today.
Montana State will play at Sam Houston State next weekend.

winner plays the winner of
#5 Villanova hosts South Dakota State

winner plays the winner of
#3 James Madison hosts #6 Montana

The #6 Montana at #3 James Madison game will be on ESPN 2 Friday night at 6:00 PM.

The #7 East Tennessee State at #2 North Dakota State game will be on ESPN Saturday morning at 11:00 AM.

The South Dakota State at #5 Villanova game will be on ESPN + Saturday at 1:00 PM.

The #8 Montana State at #1 Sam Houston State game will be on ESPN + Saturday night at 7:30 PM.

Just an interesting note. I'm watching NDSU's game, and they are complaining about the empty seats in the stands..................

As of yesterday, Frisco tickets are still available.  That would never happen in the past.  I almost pulled the trigger for a pair.  Went several years in a row regardless of who was playing.  Might do it this year.

Granted, even their "small" crowds dwarf ours, but I just found the perspective interesting. We're not the only ones with crowd problems, apparently.
