Many fewer teams playing this weekend...FBS has their conference championship games going on and the non-DI playoffs are a few weeks underway, so the number of teams is narrowing.

12/4 at 11 AM - Kent State (7-5) vs Northern Illinois (8-4), ESPN - MAC Championship Game
12/4 at 7 PM - #5 Michigan (11-1) vs #16 Iowa (10-2), FOX - Big Ten Championship Game

DII Playoffs
Since they're already into the quarterfinals, I'll go ahead and list all the games. All games are 12/4, but times have not been announced yet.
#2 Shepherd at #1 Kutztown
#3 Northwest Missouri State at #1 Ferris State
#2 Bowie State at #1 Valdosta State
#2 Angelo State at #1 Colorado School of Mines

DIII Playoffs

NAIA Playoffs
#3 Grand View (IA) at #1 Lindsey Wilson (KY)
#4 Northwestern (IA) at #2 Morningside (IA) - Morningside is ~45 minutes away from Northwestern and they're both in the GPAC. Morningside won the regular season matchup 55-49 4 weeks ago.

NIU has another former WIU player, according to the roster Eric Abrell is on the team. Maybe its been mentioned, but I don't remember anyone mention it.

Former WIU player and assistant coach Bill O'Boyle is an assistant coach for Kent St.

Truman State will be playing in the America's Crossroads Bowl game today (Saturday, Dec 4) vs Hillsdale College.  The game is being played in Hobart, Indiana.  Game time is 12 Noon.

Northern Illinois beat Kent State in the MAC championship game, 41-23
Clint Ratkovich ran for 24 yards and a TD.

Truman State won their bowl game 34-17.

They finish the season with a 9-3 record.

I watched a little bit of the game they just happen to be talking about Clint, saying him and Rocky Lombarbi, their transfer QB from Michigan St, have emerged as team leaders.
