Thursday, January 6 at 6 PM - hosting Kansas City

KC is currently 6-6 overall and 1-1 in the Summit League.
  • Wins - at Missouri, vs NCCAA Kansas Christian, at Idaho State, vs NCCAA Calvary Bible, vs Green Bay
  • Losses - at Minnesota, at Iowa, Morehead State and Arkansas State (at ASU event), at SIUE
  • In the Summit League - lost 89-57 at South Dakota State, won 68-57 at South Dakota, had home games against Omaha and Denver cancelled.
Rankings:
  • NET Ranking: WIU 162, KC 200
  • KenPom: WIU 207, KC 225
  • ESPN BPI: WIU 208, KC 136
  • Massey: WIU 230, KC 221; 57% chance of WIU win, predicted score of 72-69.

Gonna be cold on Thurs (7 as a high).  Did you ever play ball outside when it was so cold the ball would hardly bounce and the net was frozen stiff and would not let the ball fall through?  Yep but it's been a while.

We need to get our MOJO back somehow someway.

Both the men and women's games have been postponed. Tentative makeup date is January 31st.

More time to prepare for Max and Oral Bob.  They along with SDSU look like the cream of the league this year although small sample size to base it on.

To bad we can’t find some non D1 school to play really hate having that much time before the ORU game. I’m assuming that UMKC must still be having the issue as I was out for dinner and a couple of our players were there as well.

Yeah, in something else I read it said that both KC and Denver were having covid issues currently.
