How good would these guys be with arguably their best player (Noah Freidel) in the lineup.

He's just a distraction there better without him.

South Dakota State won the game 93-75.

Trenton Massner led the Western scoring with 24 points.  George Dixon had 12 points and 12 rebounds.  Tamell Pearson had 10 points.  

Attendance at Western Hall = 1,206

Next game will be at Western Hall on Monday (Jan 24) vs South Dakota.  Game time is 6:00 PM.

I will have to watch a replay of this one.  My gut says that majority of their3 point bombs were of the uncontested SET SHOT variety.  You dont see that shot used much these days in D1 ball but to good shooters, it is really nothing more than long Free Throw, you would expect most of them to fall.  Most of our shots were pretty well contested, forcing the jumper, and even few tough fadeaways which mostly did not go down.

Watching a little ORU-NDSU game.  Looks the NCAA run last year really helped out ORU attendance this year.
