Important quotes...
Transferring at the FCS level is even riskier. Only a third of Portalers find a scholarship awaiting them on the other side.
And only 36 percent of FCS transfers find a Division I school willing to take them, period.

I would also be interested in the percentages associated with the underlying reasons WHY an athlete entered onto portal (not enough PT, hated coach, move closer to home, ....)  I would think the application would allow an athlete to check off one or more reasons associated with his/her decision.  If they cant do that, the NCAA is dumb AF.  How can you fix a problem when you have no clue what is causing it.

Thought this was a good suggestion for how to deal with some of the craziness that goes on this time of year: https://sports.yahoo.com/college-footba ... 09266.html

Essentially, eliminate the HS early signing period so college teams have time to solidify their transfers situation and any coaching staff changes. Possibly push back the regular signing period a bit as well.
