ST, if you get some time could you check something out for me. Assuming you have a Chrome browser, could you login in as user1/pass1 on the app and go to the pick sheet. See if the arrows in the margin boxes are acting strange for you. For me, if I click on one, it goes crazy and acts like it is stuck or something. Margin number keeps increasing or decreasing. It might be somethng in the app triggering it or it might be something within my browser causing it but I found a web site which also exhibits the same behavior for me in Chrome.

The ;pickem app link:

http://ip-198-12-248-7.ip.secureserver.net:3000/mvfc

The other web site link exhibiting same behavior (within the "Default" input box):

https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_c ... number.asp

It appears that the latest MS Edge browser might be the preferred browser option this year. Could not say that last year.

I tested it out in Chrome (not my default browser, but I have it installed for testing purposes) and was unable to replicate the problem you were having. For reference, I'm using Chrome Version 84.0.4147.105 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10. I also tried it out in Firefox 79.0 (my default browser) and Edge 84.0.522.52 (also installed for testing purposes) and didn't have the issue with either of those either.

I've heard that Edge is much better now, but I still prefer Firefox due to how it handles things like privacy.

I have the same Chrome version. I reset it back to default (no extensions) and the pick sheet now behaves fine. It would be interesting to know what extension was causing the problem.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully we will get to use this thing for a few games this fall.

Might have been an adblocker or javascript blocker. Seems like those are the things most likely to interact oddly with elements on a page.

I am debating whether or not to roll out the Pickem game for the upcoming football season. If I was sure that my usual game and score source feed was going to work, I would definitely do it. Doing the schedule and scores by hand is not that time consuming but it is hard to beat sitting back and watching it all happen automatically. The ncaa source feed below works great for getting the games and scores each week in a JSON format which is nice to work with. But with 2 football seasons in 2021, the URL would need some change. Right now it just takes the year and week number for the season. Maybe 2021-A or something to differentiate from the fall season. If anyone knows of another reliable and FREE source, please let me know.

The NCAA's schedule and score JSON feed appears to be in place now. We are in getting ready for week 22 of the 2020 season.

I will see if I can get things setup tomorrow. If I can, I will try to go forward with the contest. We will not have any bonus contests to start with (e.g. Preseason conference finish picks). I might incorporate some bonus contests later in the season. Also, because of limited games in the FCS, I will be going with just 8 pickable games instead of the usual 12. If I had more time, I think I would try to incorporate some Summit League hoops games into the mix.

We are all systems GoDaddy for week 1. All users must sign up regardless if they have played before. Here is the application link:

http://ip-198-12-248-7.ip.secureserver.net:3000/mvfc

ST, can you update the link on the site home page?

I will try to send out email invites to all previous users but I seem to be having a problem with generated emails ending up in Spam folders. Might have something to do with the new Godaddy VPS server. Any ideas on how to prevent that from happening?

Oops, looks like something wrong at kickoff. The server seems to be unavailable. Stay tuned for update.

Doesn't look like I can embed that page (the way I did it before), so I just linked to it. It's set up now.
