Pretty good effort for first game.  Fought back a couple of times to stay in it.  Lot of things to work on though, most on the defensive end.  Gave up way too many easy buckets or we put them at the FT line too much because we were a step slow (or no help) guarding them. The disparity in fouls was not that great (we +2 more), but they shot a lot more FTs (we -15 less).  On offense, we need to get the ball in paint more to the big guys, even if it is only to set up a perimeter shot.

I listened to the radio broadcast of the 2nd half of the game. This one intrigued me since it's a MVFC matchup, except in hoops. Was pulling for you guys and was happy that you all pulled it off.

On Saturday my team and y'alls will have a good match on the football field. Will be interesting to see who can get their first MVFC win. Our starting QB went down against UND, so if he's not back I don't like our chances too much.

Final word. I also have to give your radio guy a shout out. It sounds like he just does an awesome job behind the mic for basketball games.

Good win for the guys,i'll admit I figured they would lose tonight. I agree about too many easy buckets, when Vuk wasn't in there they seem to go small and we had no interior defense. Need a rim protector hopefully Collinsworth can help with that. Fts were like 20 to 5 at one point. Had a lot good looks early in the game that they were missing. Going to need another scorer besides Massner and Rosner, but liked how they looked overall.
