It seems to be confirmed, but don’t want to steal his thunder. Decorated starter.

Anxiously awaiting the news. The one that immediately pops into my head is Brantley, but don't know how his injury affects his ability to play again.
Following….. I’d assume Brantley would stay since he has a decent recovery ahead but teams have seen how great he is so maybe a team would take a shot on him being healthy for next year.

Had a good feeling about getting him after we signed Morrissey.  They were high school teammates.

Would have been sweet to have he and Sid for the next few years, but hoping Yaser is ready to step up.

Bummer. Oh well, it is what it is. Still waiting to hear about the anticipated decorated returnee.

If you want the best shot to play at the next level and you only have a year to prove you belong there,  you would like to know who the QB is going to be and how accurate he is.   ;)

I agree…I’m ok with this.  He’s a great kid but there are no guarantees that he will be ready physically for the fall season.  He’s got a lot of rehab ahead of him.  He may end up taking his redshirt year if that happens.  We need receivers that can play now and can prepare for the fall season during Spring ball.  We have several that redshirted last year.  They could make an impact right away.  Whoever offers him will be taking a risk.

I spoke to a dad that said his son who’s a WR worked out with Matt Morrissey recently in Chicago and said he can flat out zing it.  Some are saying Matt was the better of all QB’s at UNI.  And he was well liked by all the players.

He’s already showing leadership by recruiting guys to come to WIU that will help turn the page of the program.  That says a lot.  He’s taking charge of this team!  I hear there could be more after Spring ball that want to be with him.

We’ll see…but I like what I’m hearing about the kid.
