So there we go...Sunday, January 8th at 1 PM on ABC
#3 North Dakota State (12-2) vs #1 South Dakota State (13-1) for the FCS championship

It'll be the second all-MVFC championship game after NDSU beat Illinois State in 2014.

I'm very "pro" this idea. Still 24 teams in the playoffs, but instead of seeding 1-8, they seed 1-16.
1-8 get first round byes, like it currently is.
9-16 get seeded and host a somewhat "regional" opponent from the 17-24 group.

The Sporting News has South Dakota State as a 5.5 point favorite in the championship game.

The Championship game will be Sunday (Jan 8) in Frisco, Texas.  The game will be on ABC.  Game time is 1:00 PM.
