They might be renaming the Mabee Center to the Mabee Max Center before Abmas is done.
But maybe Max will have a subpar night and we pull off a bit of a surprise?
Might our long lad Cody see some extra PT to help neutralize the 7'5" Vanover?
A little run and gun a bit before Vanover settles into his home in the paint?
They are giving away free tickets so expect a raucous atmosphere spurred on by
their Pep Band which comes in a lofty third best amongst all of the Pep Bands that I have
witnessed in person (1 George Mason, 2 VCU).

Or let him have his 40 and hold everyone else down?  They are very quick.  Seem to be all over our passing lanes.

Agreed...they are simply not quick enough. Live a die by a modified zone and hope some 3s start dropping.

Paul Mills might have the most interesting resume in all of D1 hoops coaches.  He has put together an impressive team the last 2 or 3 years.

Oral Roberts won the game 87-63.

Vuk Stevanik led the Western scoring with 12 points.  Trenton Massner had 11.

Western was 5 for 25 (20%) on three-point attempts.

Max Abmas scored 30 of his 37 points in the first half for Oral Roberts.

Attendance at Oral Roberts = 5,183.

Next game will be at UMKC on Saturday (Jan 14).  Game time is 7:00 PM.
