Winner takes the #3 seed in tournament.
Loser gets to potentially play first 2 games in tournament without seeing a *Dakota* team.
I kind of like the latter position but I might be in the minority opinion.

I'm so disappointed with our play so far, it doesn't matter to me. Unless we step up big time, our position on the bracket won't matter, either.  :(

Great comeback.  Can we finish?

Tough one to slip by.  I did not like setting up for press with under 10.  Leave too much spacing on floor for a ball handler to create in a chaotic situation.

We short-handed.  Does anyone know what Farr's situation is.

So, it looks like we're #4 going up against #5 St. Thomas on Sunday evening. I agree with sealhall74 that it might actually be a good thing to end up on our side of the bracket. There's only one Dakota school on our side, and it's #9 UND, who we beat twice (and who Massner seems to match up well against...averaged 40 points a game against them). Plus, if we end up winning and probably playing Oral Roberts, nearly everyone in the arena is going to be rooting for us to take them down. ORU might be #1, but the last few weeks, they've appeared somewhat beatable...only beating UND by 3 points, NDSU by 8, UST by 7, and us by 9. Much better than the 20-30 point domination they were doing in games in January.

The #3 seed NDSU has to take on a USD team that split with them this season, but with what will probably be a very "Yote-friendly" crowd.

Massey Matchup says we got a much better deal with this #4 seed.

We are 1 point dogs against the Tommies and 9 point dogs against ORU (with neutral court in play, and we might actually have a home court feel against ORU cause the crowd will be behind us if we get there, plus we got the early game in the session so most of the crowd will be in place late in our game).
We are 4 point dogs against the Yotes and 10 point dogs against the Jacks (with home court advantage going to them).

I like our chances to get to the championship this year.
