I just checked how Nick Mitchell is doing, he's the best position player on Indiana. Having another crazy season. I loved watching him play .

Two wins today, and I believe both were shutouts.

Western took two of the three games at Lindenwood.

Western Baseball is now 6-12 in the OVC (last place).

Western Baseball has a busy week ahead:
Home game with Bradley on Tuesday.
At Illinois State on Wednesday.
Home weekend series with Little Rock starting on Friday.

We really need to grab at least one game from Little Rock to keep conference tournament hopes alive. They're the top team in the conference at the moment. 

Western Baseball beat Illinois State 11-1 today in Normal.

The game was stopped after 7 innings via the Ten Run Rule.

Attendance at Illinois State = 463

Little Rock won 2 of the 3 games this weekend.

Western Baseball is now 7-14 in the OVC (tied with Lindenwood for last place).

Western will finish the home portion of the schedule with a series vs Southeast Missouri State which starts on Friday.

It really feels like we need a season win this next series. SEMO is 2nd in the conference so not sure we're gonna find it. 

Necks get the opener against SEMO.  Kratz got some petty good giddy up on his heater to close it out.

SEMO won the series two games to one.

SEMO hit 8 home runs in Sunday's game which they won 17-8.

Western is now 8-16 in the OVC (last place).

The top 8 teams will be in the OVC Tournament.  Western is currently in 10th place -- 2 games behind the 8th place team, Eastern Illinois.

Western will start a 3-game series on Thursday at Southern Indiana to finish out the regular season.

Western Baseball finishes with an overall record of 13-37 and 8-19 in the OVC (last place).

Western and Lindenwood did not qualify for the OVC Tournament.

Last year, Western was 12-40 overall and 8-16 in the Summit League (tied for 5th out of 7 teams).
