Women's Soccer

Just saw the news about the Women's Soccer coach being letting go (fired). I guess I haven't really been paying attention this year, but they were pretty bad. One win and they only scored 6 goals this year. 6 girls scored one goal. Seems like some historically bad numbers. Anyway I hope they can find a decent coach to get things turned around.

I see that Ross Henderson was named head women's soccer coach (according to the employee directory:

I'm seeing a Ross Henderson who was the head women's soccer coach at DII Clayton State University (Morrow, GA):

They went 8-3-6 last fall, and he's originally from Lincoln, England.

WIU posted the news on IG and I saw in the comments a couple people said it was a great hire for WIU so I hope they are right.

I agree.. that program hasn't been great.
