vs SEMO

SEMO is currently 10-10 overall, 5-4 OVC. SEMO lost their game Thursday at Lindenwood and they are 2-2 on the road in conference play. the Red Hawks have 3 seven footers on their roster. They list only 2 Seniors on their roster. Senior Teddy Washington is their leading scorer at 14.9 ppg.

Southeast Missouri State won the game 72-51

Western was out-scored 45-28 in the second half.

SEMO had 21 Bench Points.  Western had 5.

Just rewatched the game since missed it live yesterday, all I can say is this team is playing with no hope.

There is no true scorer or leader.

I really thought moving to the OVC we would be in the top-5, but sadly not.

I have been noticing that as well. New players will take time to mesh....but that is basically the new normal. I had been guessing Myers would take on the leadership role.....but it seems the lack of consistency at every position makes it a bit difficult to get the team to truly be ALL IN. They have no real identity. Whether it be offensive or defensive, need a couple of dudes to take ownership and get things moving in a more positive direction. At least they will mix things up a bit defensively, but nothing to brag about based upon the current record.
