In the other first-round game today, #5 Southern Indiana beat #8 Tennessee State 90-66.  Southern Indiana will play #4 Little Rock at 12:30 PM on Thursday.
 

Win this game against EIU AND my cough subsides a bit, I might make the drive down to Evansville.  If not that, I will do my best to get into Sherrard and Peoria Manual game on Friday nite.  The latter will be a much tougher ticket.  They go on sale at 3pm today online.  A few available at the door.  I have been known to stand in line to get into a game.  Sometimes it pays off.  On a spring trip to Myrtile Beach a few years back, I stood in line for a sold-out Coastal Carolina game (they were also honoring Dustin Johnson that day).  I was fortunate to grab one the few remaining tickets not taken by the visiting team.  Good seat.  In fact so good, Dustin Johnson was sitting right in front of me.

No, they sent them over on a bus in the morning, did the game, then bus back home afterwards (cheaper to not put them up in hotel rooms). Idk if they'll send them back tomorrow if the women win today.

WHY NOT WIU? 

As a “former” community member, I feel a lot of feelings towards the University. Those 40 minutes between those 4 lines… none of that shit matters!!! All that matters is playing a GAME. Playing a game! As hard as you can, with as much passion as you can.

We don’t have everything at Western Illinois. We don’t have…. who gives a shit?! We can have a WINNING attitude and give a WINNING effort. Those two things go a long ways! Long ways.. 

I really want it for the kids, support staff, coaches, Administrators, community, and all of west-central Illinois! I hope you absolutely obliterate Lindenwood.
