Apparently Lamb applied for another year but was turned down. So there will be 5 guys competing for the QB job this Spring.

is there tailgating?  I've seen vague updates on social media.  Free parking like last year and free tickets?  My neighbor said her granddaughter is playing in the band for the spring game.  Would like to make the trip to see what team looks like.  Intersted in new QB and defense!

It is definitely strange. I forgot the date of the spring game, but figured it should be coming up soon. I had a heck of a time finding a post anywhere that had anything about it!!! And all it gave was the date - no time, no game info, no tailgating info. Whoever is doing their promotions needs to step it up big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like we have two grad students in charge of marketing. One is a grad assistant coach for the women's basketball team. I'm sure they're doing their best, but they also have other duties and responsibilities. I'm guessing we just can't afford to pay someone a full-time position to handle marketing.

I actually think that thanks to social media the branding and marketing for WIU football is very good when compared to other regional FCS schools.  Just haven't seen much about the spring game other than it's at 6pm on Friday.  Within the last year or so the football social media has done a complete 180 in terms of positive look and professionalism.
