Weather kept me at home today but enjoying a first half of very solid basketball on the stream.  Probably our best half this year.  Making shots, sharing the rock, controlling the boards, just the way the game should be played.

Things got a little sloppy in 3rd qtr as TT adjusted and denied those easy backdoor looks we got earlier.  They also hit some 3s on us.

77-60 the final.  Things looking good heading to Charleston on Tuesday to begin a long week on the road.  Correction.   Make that 2 weeks on the road.
 
 
 

Mia Nacastro led the Western scoring with 25 points.

Western had 3 three-pointers, while Tennessee Tech had 11.

Western had 48 Points In The Paint, while Tennessee Tech had 16.

Raegan McCowan was still wearing a brace on her Left arm.

Trenton Massner brought his Wapello High School Girls Basketball team to the game.

Next game will be Tuesday (Jan 13) at Eastern Illinois.  Game time is 5:00 PM.

Watched a nice win today over Tenn Tech they went to NCAA tournament out of our conference last year.  Great game by Mia boy can she shoot free throws like Larry Bird.  Raegan on sidelines in elbow brace maybe she can come back for postseason.  WIU girls win.

This what you get when you have a team with experience together. So much fun to watch
