Last Year: In 2025, UTM went 6-6 overall, with a 6-2 record in the OVC. They won our matchup with them, 32-31.
This Year: The Skyhawks are 3-4 overall and 2-0 in the OVC. They have wins over Chicago State, Tennessee State, and Gardner-Webb. Losses against Central Arkansas, FBS West Virginia, FBS Memphis, and Austin Peay.
History: The Leathernecks and Skyhawks have faced off four times, with UTM having a 3-1 record against us. Our only win against them was in 2003, and they beat us in 2022, 2024, and 2025.
Projections:
- Massey Ratings currently says we have a 44% chance of winning this game, with a predicted score of 30-27 for the Skyhawks.
- Sagarin's projections say a 51% chance of a WIU victory...so essentially a "coin flip".
