Congrats to Lance Lenoir on first team, Kevin Kintzel on second team, Trenton Norvell, JC Baker and Matt Zobrist on Honorable Mention.

Pretty upset that Norvell didn't get 1st or 2nd team. Knew the dual threat numbers of Roberson would get him 1 or 2. At the start of conference play I would have and even did in an early post peg Perish as the best QB in the conference, but when you compare the 2 in conference play it's obvious Norvell had the better season. I know being part of a winner/playoff team helps, but "COME ON MAN".

I'd also argue Kintzel could have deserved 1st team over Farley, but considering his own teammate McMakin was even better and was 2nd team, we'll leave it at that.

Its sad that the MVFC pick there selection base on the team success (record 5-7 ) and threw in a little politics!! because there are players on Western Illinois who I feel deserve to be on that list. What happen to Martinez Davis?!? here is a player that has been an ALL Conference stand out, Watch list candidate, Preseason All American, Preseason All conference Join Western record list! and the fact that he had sub par year he's not chosen??!!? I remember last year Marcus William had the same type of year and yet he made All Conference!! Jonathon Rollins is another player who I Think is over look This kid had a Great Year Stats: 75 tkl 51 solo 24 ast 4TFL 2.5 sacks,10 PU ff,2 int end his career with 242 tackles miss only 1 game in his career at western "Com'On'Man"
I know everyone has there favorites but I truly feel that these 2 players should be on that list and I think because there great athlete and they will get a shot on someone team. unlike some players on that list Will Not Make it On someone team.

All of it is just numbers, all that truly matters is the win column an we fell just short of having a spectacular season and being a playoff contender. Hopefully next year even with the loss of all these great players we can have freshman and sophomores who step up and fill big defensive shoes. I think on offense we will be lights out next year as we are adding what will most likely be an all star running back in Brock Broughton. I am still confused on the whole Nikko Watson thing and am not sure if I am looking forward to having him back or not. I know he was a pretty decent running back, but he has not shown me much for me to consider him an allstar. I suppose this could be because of his illness he had for many games twos season ago, but even when in he did play it wasn't all that great except for short yardage plays. For all we know he may not be coming back as there has been little info on what happened with him and what his decisions were. This is only opinion so those who really think he is great I don't mean to offend

I think you're right on the Nikko Watson thing. The thing with Baker and Watson was that Baker was the guy who could find a whole and get through it...small and quick. Watson was bigger and the guy you'd call on to nearly always get you those last 2 yards you needed for a first down or TD. Watson's role has essentially been taken over by Devon Moore, and he fits that role very well. I'm not sure we need two backs that can do that.
Brock is a bit bigger than Baker, but that's not saying much...Baker is practically my size (and I'm short), but I feel like Brock might be more like Baker than Watson or Moore, so hopefully we'll have that same RB setup again next year, but with Broughton and Moore.

Ya I saw Brock starting and being a very similar yet slightly larger version of baker and Moore being the short yardage guy coming in to next season, but now it is just gonna get confusing until we get into the season. It will be up to coach N to make a final decision and see what he wants in his back. Could do what North Dakota did a few times and load up two full backs with Brock Behind. What a brutal machine that could be with three larger backs just rushing up the middle.
