The Hawkeyes dropped a 76-74 decision to Augustana (SD) on a buzzer beater.
This is Augustana University which is in Sioux Falls and not Augustana College which is in Rock Island. They play in the Northern Sun Conference (NCAA Division 2).
Augustana had a 15 point lead at one time in the 2nd half.
Augustana had the ball with 28 seconds left in the tied game and called a timeout with 11 seconds left on the clock to set up the eventual game-winning shot.
Attendance at Iowa City was 12,874.
