Cal Baptist announced they are dropping wrestling, men's golf and men's swimming and diving. Said the moves were necessary if they wanted to be competitive in D1 sports, they are moving to the Big West conference next year.

Just saw today that Keokuk has a 6'10" kid who is averaging over 30 ppg and 16 rebounds a game and he is unsigned. He scored 50pts in a game this season. Would be a nice get for WIU, besides the potential, getting a local kid is never a bad thing.He supposedly has offers from Illinois St and Indiana ...

WIU travels to Cape Girardeau for a 3:45 tip. SEMO is 7-7, 2-1 (OVC). the series is tied at 8. SEMO is coming off of a win against EIU on Thursday. WIU is on a 3 game losing streak and looking for their first conference victory of the season.
