The men's soccer team won their two exhibition matches, beating UI-Springfield 1-0 last Wednesday and Quincy 2-1 on Saturday (both schools are DII in the GLVC).

They'll have two road matches next weekend:
Friday, August 30 at 7 PM - at Milwaukee
Sunday, September 1 at Noon - at Green Bay
Actually, their next 4 matches are all against Horizon League teams: @ Milwaukee, @ Green Bay, home against Oakland, then @ UIC.

Men's Soccer will host Northwestern on Thursday (Sept 12). Game time is 4:30 PM.

Northwestern won the match 3-2. Attendance = 195.

The Leathernecks knock off Denver 4-3 for the first time in program history!

Western was 0-11 in games vs Denver.

The Leathernecks now sit overall at 1-11-0 and 1-1-0 in Summit League play while Denver fall to 2-7-2 and 0-1-1.

Attendance at MacKenzie Alumni Field = 249.

Next game will be a home match with Detroit-Mercy on Tuesday (Oct 15) at 3:00 PM.

On Senior Day, the Western Men’s soccer team earned a bid to The Summit League Tournament by beating Eastern Illinois 2-1.

The victory clinched a spot into post-season play for the 18th time in program history after Western missed out on the postseason last year for the first time since 2010.
